This is beyond disturbing, and has been going on for far too long. It is important for communities to continue to stand together whenever crisis arises. It is important not to let petty differences blind us from seeing the spirit, and light, that is present in all human beings. We often let matters of race, gender inequality, and religious affiliation, divide us as a people rather than unite us to find a common well grounded solution. Let this be a reminder that tragedy and hard times are equal opportunity offenders, they affect each of in separate ways, yet can unite us under the umbrella of Love.
Practice compassion and love for yourself and others, then emit that energy towards your world and it will begin to mirror those feelings and images which you have put forth.
When we can direct our energies towards solving problems like the Flint water crisis, we will be amazed what we can accomplish together.
United we stand, Divided we fall
